Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has passed on. Well, I used to watch Michael Jackson on tv quite a bit in the past. All the moonwalk and dance moves were really brilliant! I liked his songs, "Heal the world" and "Black or White". He is a really talented and creative singer.

Well, I guess you can catch them on past records of MTV now. No more live broadcasts. Rest in peace, MJ!

All his contradictions came through in the song "Black or White."

"As long as you're my baby," the chorus goes, "it don't matter if you're black or white."

Jackson usually came to the studio with his lyrics written down, Bottrell said, but this time he improvised on the spot. They recorded it in one take.

"It just sort of emanated from him," Bottrell said. "Clearly he had that theme in his mind when he started singing."

The song went to No. 1 around the world. The classic video shows Jackson dancing on different continents, and the faces of different nationalities morphing into one another.

And in the end, Jackson transforms into a pitch-black panther.

Could the following news be true?

Could the following news be true? China has the vaccine? If it is, that's awesome! :D If it's not, it may be another news of trash. :( Extracted from swinflufree website.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
China has succeeded in producing the first batch of H1N1 Influenza vaccine :)

According to China Central Television reported that China has successfully produced the first batch of H1N1 influenza vaccine.

The report said that the company officially announced the biological Westlands has successfully produced the first batch of H1N1 Influenza A domestic vaccine, expected in July to conduct clinical trials.

Swine Flu is caused by Swine Influenza Virus(referred to as SIV). SIV refers to influenza cases that are caused by Orthomyxoviruses endemic to pig populations. SIV strains isolated to date have been classified either as Influenzavirus C or one of the various subtypes of the genus Influenzavirus A.

Swine flu infects people every year and is found typically in people who have been in contact with pigs, although there have been cases of person-to-person transmission.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question: Guess where they say is the highest chances of getting the pig flu?

Answer: Cabin Toilet, the most high-risk to spread Swine Flu

China's outbreak of swine flu cases came from other countries, the public concerned about the epidemic passenger plane once again, and the spread of the virus problem in the cabin.

The outbreak of swine flu in humans has no travel warning, where is the most saftey position inside the plane?

LO Wing-lok, a specialist of infectious diseases in Hong Kong pointed out that although the cabin ventilation system to operate independently from the top to bottom, but if patients move around, the virus will continue to spread, and the toilet is the most high-risk areas, "Passengers are cough and sneeze inside the toilet without any protection, there must be full of germs, and then other passengers get caught easily. "

Lo Wing-lok also pointed out several rows of seats before and after patients is high-risk areas also. "There have been documented reported that patients with ordinary flu transmission area can be up to as much as before and after the five-row. A class from Hong Kong to Beijing flight during SARS, more patients with infections as far as seven rows of passengers. "Therefore, he suspected if trace only three rows of passengers before and after patients with the controversial area. Should we seat facing the wall?

Lo Wing-lok means that it may not be the most secure, because "If patients sitting behind you, it is easy being affected, unless if you go with your family and occupy a few rows of seats, and it will be more cautious when you sit facing the wall andnext to baby seat. "

Development milestones

I know that baby knows his name already because he will turn to look at you when he sees you calling him.

Another thing he should know by now is the word "no". Becoz sometimes when u say no..
*he'll stop wad he's doing and look @ you... But he will still want to test limits.

This is what I researched on the babycentre website:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Developmental milestones: Understanding words, behavior, and concepts

8 to 12 months
Your baby's beginning to understand simple requests. Say "no" when he tries to touch an electrical outlet, for example, and he'll pause and look at your face — maybe even shake his head "no" in return.

He's also testing your responses to his behavior. He'll throw food on the floor just to see what you'll do, and then file your response in his memory bank. Later he'll test the waters again to see whether you react the same way.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't it interesting? It is as if God made a checklist for babies to follow and that they will do certain things before reaching another milestone. hahaha

Anyway it is usually just a rough guide as to what baby will or will not do yet.:)

Is being a mum easy?

I wonder if anyone thinks being a mum is easy.

Firstly, even though I am really sleepy, I still have to handle baby at night. I guess it really depends on how demanding baby is. Well, my baby is at 9 mths and he still doesn't sleep through the night. Well, when my hand gets better, planning to put him in his own room and then turn the 'sound detector' on so that we can hear him from our room. Currently, he is sleeping in his play pen next to our bed. But when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he is brought to our bed.

Some mums went through the periods of sleepless nights bec baby may not be well and i have heard of cases where the baby wakes up every hour from 3am onwards, till it's time to wake up. It can be quite disruptive.

Well, I guess the only thing we can do is pray he can sleep through the night!:)

First haircut for baby!

We went to PP to cut his hair. It seemed he was going to tear his hair off if we did not go to the barber soon! He kept trying to pull them out! So to save him the agony, we did what most parents would do. Bring him to a barber that specialises in cutting baby's hair!

Can u tell which are the before hair cut and after hair cut photos? :P
